Organically grown

We believe in protecting the bees, soil, and trees, and the health of your family.

Our trees are grown without the use of pesticides, insecticides, or chemicals. Each tree is hand pruned and cared for to protect the beauty of their natural form.

Varieties

Our fields are inter-planted with a host of varieties, providing diversification for a healthy ecosystem.

Fir varieties include Cannan Fir, Concolor Fir, Fraser Fir

Spruce varieties include Norway Spruce, White Spruce

looking forward

Every season our family plants thousands of seedlings by hand, of which each will be visited multiple times every year until it reaches harvest size at around 10 years. This is a time of many smiles, frowns, and tears.

We are truly excited about the recent expansion to our tree farm, introducing Blue Spruce and Balsam Fir seedlings.

ConCOLOR fir

One of our increasingly sought after trees, the Concolor Fir is unique in is appearance with powdery green to light blue needles growing 2-3” long. The needles are soft to the touch, growing in a circular pattern around the branch that curve into an upright position. The Concolor is also desired for its citrus like aroma. Although their branches are not as stiff as the spruce family, they are the strongest in the fir family and have excellent needle retention.

CAnaan FIr

With dense, dark green to blueish needles and a pleasant fragrance, the Canaan Fir is a stately evergreen to take home from our farm. The body of the tree features dense branches that take on a pyramidal shape, producing an attractive layered structure that is ideal for displaying ornaments. Similar in appearance to Fraser and Balsam Firs, and excellent needle retention, this tree is an ideal choice for your Holiday selection.

SPruce

Often known as the traditional Christmas Tree, the spruce is readily identified by its dark green needles and strong, pleasing aroma. Their sturdy, upward slanting branches are superb for golding heavy ornaments. We offer both Norway and White Spruce varieties on our farm. Although not as superb at needle retention as the firs, with proper care and watering, you will have a classic symbol of Christmas through the Holiday season.

Typical growth is relatively slow, with 8-11 years required to reach 6-7 feet.
